Mambo Italiano

Leah is excited -- she and Jonelle just booked a trip to Rome in May for friend Katie's wedding!  Business will be mixing with pleasure: side trips are planned to seek out vintage vinyl, Italian-style.  Imagine the cool records she'll be bringing back...and the awesome pieces she'll be turning it all into!


Italy has always had a rich music scene that encompasses many styles; Opera, the Neopolitan Song style (think O Sole Mio), the influential Italian Disco scene, and the pop music of today.  We're predicting many unique artifacts and interesting treasures await Leah in Italy. 

So what should Leah look for in Italy?  Any requests?  Our online search for Italian music broadened our horizons a bit.  Type "Italian music" into Google and all sorts of things pop up.  Our favorite is this 80s music video we're sharing here -- Leah, please pick up some Sabrina Salerno while you're over there!

Tattoo You

Leah Creation was at the Tattoo Convention in Philly a few weeks ago!  Everyone had a blast with the body art crowd, seeing old friends and making new ones too.  It was great to see Leah's friend Chrissy from Bad Panda jewelry (check out her stuff) -- Leah hasn't seen since she moved to Texas!  Also on hand was Jonelle's friend GiGi, an awesome chick who's body is a canvas for Bili Vegas, a true artist and a sweet guy, too! And the crazy peeps from Tru Blu Tattoo...Leah says "they are one kickass tattoo family"!

Spring and summer shows are booking now.  These events are always a lot of fun, and Leah joins all the vendors with her full line, so look for upcoming appearances soon!

7 Days of (Leah) Creation

We admit it: we've been neglecting our blog followers. This week we're making amends: A new blog post every day for a week!  

Leah and her team have been very busy these last few months, and things aren't slowing down any time soon.  Look for posts about where to buy Leah Creation jewelry -- online, in stores and direct from Leah -- including how to place a custom order....Leah loves making her customers happy!  

Also, a recap of the Tattoo Convention, an opening for an intern to work closely with Leah, and a preview of Leah's upcoming European Tour 2011...ok, she's going on vacation, but she'll be looking for old vinyl for new creations, too!  See you guys tomorrow!

Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention February 4th-6th

Come on out to see Leah Creation (and her jewelry) at the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention at the Sheraton Hotel at 17th and Race in Philly this weekend!  Along with other artists and vendors, Leah will be there with her latest works, including some new designs especially for the ink'd set.  Check these out these "swallow" earrings:
